I must look funny typing on the new keyboard.
But in terms of typing, a conventional one is better because of the spring beneath the keys while the foldable one depends on the rubberised surface.
Plus the keys are rather unstable, thus slow to type.
But still a person like me wont mind hahah.
Coz it's again the coolness factor tt matters!
I bet my colleagues will be going open mouthed at the sight of my cool keyboard haha.

The Corn Morning Post
Good morning! This is Ms Corny Tan reporting at the Ntuc office table. I would like to bring u the latest news regarding...zzz....sorry i dozed off.... dogs.
My relatives will be going on a trip to HK frm 5th Mar to 11th Mar. Thus, my cousins are entrusting the 2 dogs, Rena and Pfluffy in MY care. Rena is a mixed breed of a maltese and dunno wat. Somehow she reminds me of a schnauzer at times. Pfluffy on the other hand is a shitzu, with her tongue sticking out. She actually looks, psst, retarded. Haha. Actually im not tt confident in caring for them becoz i've never ever owned a dog in my life. I also dont dare to carry them, for fear of hurting them. See how a gentle "giant" i am. Haha. So during this period, im gonna put the hamster cage in my room, no matter how dirty or smelly the cage is. Haha. So any of u who are dog lovers can feel free to come to my hse to play with them haha.

Yesterday, i had a good talk with Jojo, i can tell she was feeling moody, maybe becoz her thumb was releasing stress hormones haha. At the same time, im also happy tt i was able to help guide Audrey to her destination, partly due to the fact tt my sec sch used to be around this area. I've no idea why she wans to go somewhere so far away haha.

I'm really surprised at wat kind of frens i could have. Now i realise tt the pple i've come into contact with for a long time cant neccessarily be always goody, kind , helpful pple. There will always be darker sides to their lives. But we shd be more open to their attitude and understand why they have become like tt. We shdnt be so conservative all the time. Tt's a disadvantage of Confucian values. Now i know tt Confucius isnt exactly a great philospher or a great man. Mum criticised him for instilling in us Chinese his own values which isnt appropriate in our society anymore and i do agree with Mum. Let's just say i'm a feminist as well as a young MODERN woman.

Ok yesterday me and jo were discussing on the topic of shaving ur vag hair. Well, since i've seen my sis', i've one thing to say about this. I think ur vag looks so much cleaner, neater and pleasant to see. But on the other hand, without the vag hair, ur vag wouldnt be able to be kept clean. But i think those who shave are the ones who wan to please their partners. And those who dont are the ones who have one night stands.
So tt's mainly my view on hair.

Wow, certainly a horrific injury yea.

His ankle was broken by a rough tackle frm an Everton player.

But how his ankle was broken...u dont know.
His ankle was twisted outwards! Like an L shape. U know, the leg is the straight part of the L, and the sticking out part of the L is the ankle! (The ankle shd be facing forwards but here, the ankle is twisted outwards like a right angle to the leg!)
And i saw the poor guy groaning in pain with his ankle broken at an awkward angle. Utmost absolute painfulness. The poor guy has to spend 9mths in hospital!

Hi readers! Good morning, have a nice day at work and so on....
Today i report happening news which have happened to me so far, the good and the bad.
This news mainly revolves around Saturday where i've had interesting things happening to me.
Ok not really tt interesting but at least sth to talk about haha.
Well, last Sat, i went out wif Tina and Annette to Vivo for a movie date. To my disappointment, Tina wanted to watch Kungfu Dunk but i actually preferred to watch L... Well, maybe she has the right to choose coz she's only going to be in sg for 10 days. Actually the show was quite good and funny, it can really give u the laughs and also a sense of heartwarming towards Jay Chou, maybe after all he isnt really tt cold, he could actually be a comical type of person.
While watching the movie, i had a feeling tt i was actually watching Christopher Lee acting in the movie coz they are both so alike in terms of look, facial expressions and body movements haha.

Then after tt we went to Food Republic to eat dinner. I bought the laksa frm there and it's really good although the price is quite hefty which is six-ninety!!! The bowl was sth like a claypot type, made of material tt can funnel heat to the food really well, and of course i accidentally brushed my arm on the bowl, burning my skin. It really can burn! I now have a burn mark on the lower side of my arm. Then being rather late already, we left for the comfort of our homes.

Reached home, opened my bag and my goodness, saw got white sticky silicon-like stuff on my bag! Dad says it's chewing gum! Wa piang, damn the person who dares put chewing gum on other pple's bags! Peabrain!
Before going to bed, i had really severe diarrhoea, like period cramps. Shit colour was normal brown.

On Sunday, after coming home frm shopping at Suntec, had diarrhoea again, this time with more painful cramps. I checked and horror of horrors, my shit was red! Nah, i dont have piles (did u know tt everyone has piles just tt it's not so serious). I think the colour was due to the food i ate, maybe the laksa or the pork ribs frm Kenny Rogers'. I also bought a new webcam frm Suntec coz the old one had seriously shitty quality images. But then the new one got so many dead pixels!!! Oh why did mum choose the box tt was in front on the shelf? Obviously, it has been handled many times by the salesman for demonstrating to pple! I think i'm going down to change the webcam and i must make sure to test it on the spot no matter wat the salesman says coz i found Sunday's salesman not so trustworthy and has a face tt makes u wan to slap him.

Ok now here i am at work, i had diarrhoea again just now and phew, my shit was back to its normal colour, so the colour of the shit really depends on the colour of the food u ate. Bye, i've got to get back to work. Good day to you mates!

It's a Saturday again!
One fine cool hazy morning, i was walking briskly along the park, humming to the tune of " Ra, ra, ra..." Then i came upon a snail, crawling at a snail's pace ( haha a pun!). Actually, i was feeling a little bit moody so i proceeded to bring my foot down on the snail's shell and it broke. Wahhahaha, it deserved to die for crossing my path! Yada yada yip yip hooray! Hahha sadistic i am.
It's just a stupid story i made up anyway...

Let me ask u sth. If someone answers ur reply in a kinda somewhat no-brain way, will u be pissed off? Yea of course! I can't stand pple who dun use their brains to answer my qns, such tt their answers are too weak to support or rebutt my reply or not logical at all. Of course such a thing will always happen to me, i can accept tt but if it becomes too pesky and irritating, all the time thinking the same way, then i think i'm gonna kick tt person to Nibiru, the 10th planet. I'm not trying to look down on stupid pple, they r already like tt, we shdnt ignore this fact but if other pple are just ur average kind and they continue to answer in a stupid way, then NOOOOOOO!!!!!!! Pls pls pls use ur brain!!! And also use ur brain and ur heart to "feel" the other person, sense whether the person opp u is feeling happy, sad or irritated. Don't be so tactless and ask so many questions and bother tt person! Do ur own research, the answers will eventually come to u! Don't always depend on others for answers!

Lalalala, in a few hours time, i'm gonna meet my frens at Vivo. Then watch Kungfu Dunk! I think i would prefer L-Save The World and this other fren wanted CJ7. Wah don't me puke with such horrible movies! It's just a ball of fur, why make a movie out of it??? Tt's why i hate HK and Sg movies. Their culture is almost the same, gangsters, triads, fighting, poor language use.... Wahh.... HK movies are almost all the time about fighting and triads, the producers have no other ideas issit? Then if a HK movie is starring Charlene Choi, i bet u i'm not going to watch tt show, coz i know for sure, it's all going to be some shitty trying-to-be-funny show, although mahjong HK shows are an exception coz i love to watch pple playing mahjong haha...
As for Sg movies, i think they are not too bad but i would prefer if they cast different pple coz they seem to be casting all the usual actors, Mark Lee, Henry Thia, Fann Wong blah blah blah. Pls Stop!!! I'm getting tired of them! At least there's Leap Years starring Li-Lin and Ananda and i think it's quite a good movie maybe because they r good actors and speak english well. Although Qi Yuwu doesnt really speak tt perfect english since he's china-born, he can really act well so the movie is still overall what i think is nice.
So good actors are wat makes a good movie and lousy ones like Mark will definitely spoil ur day.

Ok, let me blog about supernaturals and spiritual stuff. All things tt happened in dreams and in real life but without us realising it.
Let me give a personal recount about my sis' dream last time. I din get the chance to share the story wif my frens coz they were too chicken to even hear about it during the J2 retreat in July last yr.
Ok here goes:

Back to the real thing...
My sis and her frens were walking outside the Red House which is just further down the road frm Downtown East. Naturally, all humans, even dogs, cats and insects will stop to look at the house which looks creepy and ghostly, even scarier at night. They were walking at night and my sis stared at the old house. Nobody was living there actually. (most youngsters might know of the Red House)
Some pple claimed to see ghostly lights frm the house, noises, old man blah blah... The house is quite far away frm the gate tt's closed, sometimes the gate can be opened a little probably due to vandals or ghostly forces. If the gate is closed, then pple will always step on the stone lions guarding the gate entrance to get into the house, rmb it's always bad luck to step on their heads. So i think we also shd not try to sit on the heads of the stone lions at Ngee Ann City Taka. hahaa.
Anyway, my sis just stared at the house, she din see anything, probably she was a little creeped out. Then after tt, she went back home and when she slept, she had visions of the red house being a child care centre long ago. She saw many children playing and she also saw a red door. After she woke up, she told us about her dream. A few days later, i came upon a story on the red house in the SPI website.(the red house story is now taken down, i dunno why)
The thing is, the visions tt my sis had were true! It really was a child care centre previously and there really is a red door! Oh my gosh, my sis din enter the house premises at all! It was like someone was telling her the history of the house! Scary right? Then after tt, my family and i went cruising along the road beside the red house, lucky my bro reminded me not to look at the house... Wow, kept in suspense ah u?

Singapore wins over Moscow to be the final city to host the inaugural 2010 Youth Olympic Games!

Yay! But then i'm not confident over Singapore's ability to play a good host coz it is a world major sporting event after the Olympic Games. If i were an athlete, i would prefer Moscow over Singapore, firstly because Singapore is my home country duh, and i want to experience playing major sports outside of the country. Moreover, i think Moscow is a nice place.
Actually, it was expected tt Singapore would win because it is first of all, a country with no experience of hosting major sporting events. So of course a chance would be given to the inexperienced country unlike Moscow which has hosted i think 2 Olympics Games before.

Happy things aside, did u all watch Channel Newsasia for the news on the youth olympics thingy? If you have, did u notice a non-smiling and act-cool man with Bing Xing-like eyes behind the PM? Mum told me he is a bodyguard and i was laughing at how he tries hard not to laugh or look interested in watever the PM was saying. He is also the only one not cheering or waving a small flag. Hahahahahha funny. Mum says bodyguards are not supposed to laugh or talk. I want to be one.

Hi guys! Ok let me blog sth about myself.
I've this fear tt whenever i use public toilets, i make sure tt no smell emits frm my cubicle after using the toilet bowl. Haha funny isnt it? Well, when you shit, after awhile the shitty smell escapes frm the toilet bowl and eventually floats out of the cubicle door, reaching the noses of females waiting for their turn. Acutally, this scenario only applies to pple who have really smelly shit and prob stomach indigestion haha. Tt can apply to my mum... Wahhahahhaahah.
Okok, so after you shit and you leave the cubicle, the next person will then go into your cubicle while you try your best to wash your hands fast and then leave the toilet quickly before the person realises tt you had actually done your shitting earlier.

Possible scenario if you hadnt left the toilet in time:
-you walk out of the cubicle after shitting and being the person with short stumpy legs, you proceed to wash your hands slowly-
Next person who goes into the cubicle you just came out frm sniffs the air and says "Wah, so damn smelly! Like rotting flesh! Who did this? Puke puke"
And then tt person comes out of tt stinky cubicle and looks at you disgusted and moves to another cubicle.
Wah if you were tt shitting person, i bet you will be damn embarrassed especially if tt stupid aunty person exclaims loudly about the smell, allowing other females in the toilet to hear. Now everyone knows u have smelly shit. Hahahahaha!!!
Maybe tt's one of the reasons why Audrey K refuses to use the toilets in sch...

How to determine if ur shit will be smelly after a few seconds frm the time ur shit plonks into the ceramic toilet bowl:
1. If your shitting process is short, nice, sweet and efficient, ur shit tt comes out shd be rather hard and prob only 1 long shit comes out, after tt, a feeling of a little fire sensation in ur butt, then u can be sure tt the smell will not be there or rather, a very slight shitty smell. Safe.
2. If u experience a sudden pain in ur stomach and the longing of wanting to shit soon, the moment u sit down on the toilet bowl, watery shit tt plonks 1 sec after u sit down, you know tt it's time to flush, flush and flush the toilet many many many times, trying to get the smell away. Or quickly make a dash for the toilet door without washing your hands to avoid public shaming. Unsafe.
Solution: Just go home and do ur shitting if u experience no.2 or if home is too far, then make ur way to a deserted bush and do ur shitting there. If u think it's crude and uncivilised, then stop thinking this way and think of the grass and bioorganisms in the ground, you are actually doing them a favour, life cycles, decomposition blah blah... go read ur science textbook!

If tt's not enough for u, hamsters do eat their own shit. So if i see my "golden rat" shitting and then picking up its shit to put in its mouth and chew, i try to imagine how delicious and yummy the shit is.
"Golden rat": Yum Yum, it tastes like the chocolate cake my owner gave to me just now. Maybe i shd shit more and then eat more. Wooo...

Speaking of "golden rats", now this is the year of the earth rat, and i'm sure many of you have read the news about pple rushing to pet shops to buy geeny pig and hamsters just becoz they think these rodents will bring them luck. I have to admit i think on the same line as these kiasu pple so im hoping for some luck to befall on me haha. But as a hamster lover and owner, i do hope tt after the year of the rat is over, these pple wont dump these rodents anywhere. It really hurts me so much... It hurts... Awww...
But when the year of the ox comes around next yr, i'm not sure whether these same kiasu pple will go to Malaysia and Thailand to look for an ox and bring it back here...

Hi all, you might expect to see this munkey blog to be updated almost everyday coz i'm bored at work haha.

Ok let me blog about a certain funny incident 2 weeks ago on the 4th of Feb 2008. How could i remember the date so well? That's coz my sis was due to leave in 3 days time so tt particular week will always be safelocked in my memory as it was a week where everyone who knew her was reluctantly counting down the days to her departure.
First of all, mum, sis and myself went to Vivo to buy sis's clothes for her to bring over to Oz and we were walking along toward Forever 21 where i bought my fabulous black pullover. Upon reaching the store, only a crowd of pple separated us frm the store and there was this young lady (i think she was ang moh becoz she looks like it) tried to dodge us becoz we were coming frm the opposite direction as hers and she didnt want to block our way. Ok nothing wrong with tt but there was this unique way of dodging she did and it wasnt like any other dodging like simply stop and then turn ur body sideways. She kinda dodged like a zombie's kind of walking, unstable and her body kind of moved left then right, quite a graceful dodge. It's damn funny, i've never seen anything like this and after tt, she continued walking coolly. I think she's a gymnast or else how could she dodge just by moving her own body without having to stop and turn her body or walk in another direction. She simply sticked to her own line of direction. My sis took her action to be an arrogant way of dodging and she flashed her middle finger behind her back while i laughed all the way to the clothes rack and then laughed somemore in the changing room. That's how funny it was.

Moving the spotlight onto my sis...
I've known her for 17 yrs and there's this particular attitude about her tt's so reassuring to me. She can talk and complain to you in a way tt makes you want to really sit down and listen to her and also makes you want to support her in her arguments although sometimes you may think tt she's actually wrong. She has this natural ability to draft her arguments in such a way tt it can truly rebutt ur arguments. No matter how much you argue with her, she can somehow find another argument to support her point. That's how quarrels between her and my parents become never-ending. Ok this morning, sis called me thru the video call application found exclusively in Sony Ericsson phones. I showed her "videocam" to the rest of my colleagues and they were kinda surprised to see her. She seems quite happy to see me, she kept waving and smiling haha. These few days, she had sent me photos of herself in the kitchen as well as her study table. In return, i sent her photos of the new hammie which she claimed is not as cute and gay (gay not referring to being happy, gay as in the other meaning) as Spiky. Haha. She also mentioned that uni life is not so easy after all and i think tt's true becoz my best fren had to repeat her first yr in uni.

What i'm thinking now: Why are my slippers so smelly? Just sitting at my table, i can smell my slipper already although i put my feet down on the floor.

I Am Legend...
It's a movie worth seeing although i know tt im way behind. I've been meaning to catch this show but there wasn't a trustworthy torrent to download from the internet. Only a few days later when the torrent was made available did i begin to download.
Initially i thought of this movie as another one of the zombie movies but .... im not going to say anything about this movie haha. No spoilers for you!
It's one of the best movies made all time, joining the ranks of The Patriot and Schindler's List, some good movies tt i know of. I Am Legend will capture your heart and move you through the likes of the dog, Sam, her owner, Dr Robert Neville and the infected victims.
Catch it if you can! Or ask me for the movie itself before i delete it from the com.
P.S: This is one movie which made me sit up and realise how good an actor Will Smith really is.

Let's talk about yesterday. NTUC had a cny celebration where there were lion dance, lo hei etc, typical of cny celebrations. The lion dance was quite boring, too draggy in fact but at the end, they produced a 4 digit number which is 5135. So anybody wans to place bets on this number? Haha
Then after tt, we received ang pows which contained 1Toto ticket as well as a lucky draw number stapled on the outside. Yea OF COURSE i got lucky and won something! Hahahhaha.
The food is bleah, only the briyani is not bad but not considered for commendation haha. The jelly dessert was was.... i had to throw away the whole thing aha. Well, only 2 dollars for this meal, what can one expect?
After tt, i went home, leaving Regina to try her luck in the lucky draw and unfortunately, she didnt win anything. (Regina, dont cry cry ok? You still have the Toto ticket and the 4D number.)

Poor poor Jojo!
Her thumb is the cause of her misery.
Hope her pain and misery is lessened after the op.
I guess after she comes back to work, i will have to lend her my thumb.
Things she can do with my thumb:
1. Suck it if she likes to suck her own thumb
2. Close the car door for her
3. Stick it into the usb port of her pc (thumb-drive, get it?)
4. Need to praise pple by showing the thumbs up
5. For a game of thumb wrestling
6. Hold the pen for her (it's impossible without the big fat thumb!)

It's Saturday! A time to relax and do the things you want most!
Do you realise that most Saturdays tend to have fine cool weather, a perfect way to lighten up your mood, than any other days in a week?
Oh i forgot to blog about the freak accident in the Singapore Zoo last week.
It's really quite freaky how Atina, the baby orangutan, managed to put her head into the hanging noose and get caught there. Something to laugh about- while her mother and the rest were supposed to free her from the noose, they tugged at Atina instead, dislocating her neck in the process. Perhaps primates should be send for first aid class on how to save their own kind from further mishaps haha. Why primates only? Because they are supposed to be the one of the cleverest in the whole animal kingdom and they have hands and legs.
P.S: Do you realise something? That The Old Man (real name not revealed to avoid public prosecution) looks like an orangutan? Heeheee
Do you all know the results of The Amazing Race Asia 2? If you are guessing its the Pinoys, you are wrong! The winners are...............the Singaporeans!!! (clap for them please).
Adrian and Collin are really remarkable pple. It's also a fine example of the abled but blind man helping the non-blind but disabled man. That shows that pple with handicaps and disabilities (these two words are different in my opinion) can defy the odds stacked against them. The same goes for me too...
And i've finally downloaded Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas! It's the best game in the GTA series according to the web. It's supposedly banned in S'pore but i dunno whether the ban has been lifted yet. There's controversy about the mod Hot Coffee segment and i've seen it. Well , i must say, it's.....shocking! Not for the eyes of young kids though. I'm not going to say anything more about this coz it's really.... well, should be censored. Ya i know, i'm way past the game trend but it's a good thing i managed to find it on the net and download it for free hhehe. The wonders of being tech-savvy!
Pet update: no-name is growing bigger. Good. But still being non-touchable. Touchy-feely eh, no-name?

A tribute to the late Spiky, my dearest little cream syrian hamster
Spiky dearest, although you are just a hamster, we treat you like one of us.
We've watched you grow up ever since you were born.
You were recently made an orphan when your father died last month.
Nevertheless, we still favoured you.
In fact, you were the apple of our eyes and the most pampered among the 3 brothers.
Your long curly fur never fails to stand out, no matter what sticks to your fur, the wood shavings and all.
Your face is ever so dear, eyes are twinkling and body ever positioned upright.
Hands up, face looking around, you are just too cute to resist.
Your funny antics never fail to amuse us.
You were the best climber and the most skillful monkey bar expert among the 3.
Never mind if you failed to hang on to the bar, your falling back to the bottom always sets us laughing.
You look best when you stuff your cheeks with food, making you look like a chipmunk.
You look best when your nose is covered with food dust after your face emerges from rummaging in the food bowl.
Spiky dear, during those wonderful years you lived with us, you have certainly made an impact on our lives.
You have helped stoked the fire within us.

Ok, let me start with what happened starting from yesterday night. As usual, yest night, I took Spiky out for his almost daily night exercise and play. He climbed, he walked, he crawled as usual. However, I noticed that after I put him back into the cage, he huddled in one corner, like a ball of fur with shoulders hunched and hands together as if he was praying. His body was shaking unusually. Otherwise, he still looked healthy and active.
Immediately, I had a thought, “ Spiky, don’t die too soon. I want to spend more time with you.” I knew he’s going to die soon coz he is almost reaching his second birthday in Apr but I din expect him to die the next day.
He wasn’t like any other hamster, he was the best I’ve ever had and my father seemed heartbroken. No more cuddling Spiky, no more stroking and combing his fur, and no more shouting “Spiky!” when I come home.
All that’s left is No-name, the baby hamster and I certainly do hope tt he will grow to become closer to us just like Spiky did when he was alive.
My dad says if no-name still cant become closer to him after 1 yr, he is not going to bury him when no-name dies. He says tt it’s taboo to buy a new hamster before the old hamster dies but I don’t believe him. I believe Spiky’s time is up.
Let’s look forward to seeing no-name grow up to become as wonderful as Spiky and I hope that no-name has a name soon.
Let’s not care what others think of you, the one and only. You will forever be rooted in my heart until the day I die.

Today is Valentine's Day.
But i'm not celebrating it with anyone special today.
That's coz it doesnt hold any special meaning for me.
No, i'm not pitying myself for not having a stead to spend Valentine's Day with.
It's just coz i find it meaningless.
I mean it's just a day, nothing worth to celebrate about.
So, St Valentine, you dun hold a special place in my heart.
Go away.
Ok, so should i go out later? I feel like eating at Jack's Place. Steak is good for me, we should embrace cows. Cows, i love you. Your existence in this world is enough to make me warm and cosy with ur tasty oozy tough meat. Cows are full of meaty goodness! Got meat?
PS: I have a deal, i am going to eat at Jack's Place with my dearest frens one day after work. Yay!
And ooh, i cant wait to catch an upcoming new programme called "New Zealand on Wheels" hosted by Melody Chen showing on Channel 5 today and every Thursday. You may call me a travel idiot if you want to. I want to reminisce the times i spent there in 2004, the place was so ever wonderful and scenic. It fills u with relaxation and "Zen-ness". I think i'm going to move there soon. Goodbye, The Old Man of Singapore, my friends and even my family.

...........It's a new baby syrian male hammie! Let me tell u about it. This no-name hammie was supposed to replace spiky after he kicks the bucket. No-name is almost the same as denise teo's toot, same colour but different body patterns. No-name has purely brown fur while toot has brown and white fur but still their faces are the same. I got no-name frm someone living in lakeside for 3 bucks. The thing is, lazy me wouldnt wan to travel all the way to lakeside just to collect something the size of my har kao. haha... Luckily its owner offered to drive all the way to my house there to deposit the "har kao" as long as i paid 3 bucks more.
So here ends this post. Haha yea this may sound lame but i meant this post to be all about my new hammie hahahhahaha!!!!

Hi! Greetings frm the office! Yea today i'm working and the office is almost empty. Haha, i would very much prefer if they don't switch on the lights coz it's rather cosy working in the dark where nobody can see u. Weird eh? Guess i'm mostly a 'dark' person haha...
I know these few days i haven been blogging, i'm just too lazy to even look at the dashboard of blogger.com ahha. So let me recount the events tt happened, starting frm Sunday, 3rd Feb.
Sun 3rd Feb:
My family went to St Mike's for mass coz we need to be in time for an intl lunch buffet at Sakura later on. FYI, St Mike's finishes real early, even before the shops open fully (ard 10.45). So while at St Mike's, we were singing the Our Father and i was holding my sis' hand. When i felt her hand trying to wrench free frm mine, i looked up at her and saw tt she had tears in her eyes. I tot she was just yawning and so the tears just came out but it suddenly escalated to free-flowing tears and she was really crying. So i nudged my mum and asked her why sis is crying and when she looked at her, her eyes became red too. I tot to myself "Wat? Mum is crying too??" ( haha, laugh at this). And i shifted my focus to Dad, and his eyes were also scrunched up, looking ready to cry too! Haha stupid insensitve me don't understand wat's going on until dad, mum and sis hugged each other and tt's when it dawned on me, they miss each other so much. Only 4 more days to departure and then it will be a family of four (plus a hamster and chimpchimp haha)... God's Heavenly Song really touches and moves pple to the point of breaking down.
Lunch at Sakura's was interesting for us and rather a first-time for us to be able to take as much mussels and sashimi frm the displays. Haha, my stomach is really small ( jo, MY STOMACH IS REALLY SMALL!!!) so i got full rather fast. Well then everybody cheered up.
Mon (4th Feb):
Worked. Still typing.
Tues (5th Feb):
Worked. Stoned. Dozed off. Getting tired of repetitive work. Applied leave for Wed so tt i can see my frens even though sup reminded me tt taking leave frm a supposed half day's work will lead to a full day's pay being slashed frm ur pay check. Haha i dun freaking care about it, i just wan to get away frm all these work!
Wed (6th Feb):
Went down to sacss to meet my frens. Then went to Macs for lunch. The highlight of the day came went sis smsed me to buy her brown toned contact lens and solution bottles now. She said it was an emergency... Neh... She spoilt my outing wif my frens as i had to leave already since my family will be going over to grandma's place after tt. I rushed down to suntec, and i think it was the fastest journey i've ever taken. I believe it only took an hour and a half for me to get frm bedok to suntec and then back home. Oh i wanted to help my sis so much to find her cherry red and white ripple slippers so i went into Hula & Co. but they said the design has stopped production already... Disappointed... Few more hours to sis' departure...
Thurs (7th Feb):
1st day of CNY! Woke up early at ard 5 am to see my sis off at the airport. Bro din follow, he's really an ungrateful and unappreciative brat. At the airport, sis' luggage was apparently overweight, it had exceeded the maximum allowed weight of 22kg. So sis transferred her things over to a backpack, luckily things were solved quickly, we only just had to pay for excess baggage (70 bucks). FYI, payment for excess baggage is only allowed when ur luggage is maximum 30 kg. The time came for us to part, i was quite reluctant to let tt moment come...
We went home to slp a short while and then we went over to the 2 grandmas' places where we had lunch and dinner. Both meals were very fulfilling...
Fri (8th Feb):
2nd day of CNY! Went to Lao Ma's place at Sengkang. Tried to spot cousins frm the paternal side coz my dad's side has got a really big family and most prob the largest number of family members who r almost entirely roman catholics! Too catholic in fact... As usual, lunch was soooooo shiok, but this yr there wasnt laksa... But the briyani was consolatory for me...
So here i end this post wif a short msg dedicated to my sis...
Dear Sis,
While overseas, take care of urself and dun let ur hot-headedness overwhelm u and get u into trouble. Stop and think for urself how this situation will eventually influence others as well as urself. I am really sure u will make good over there because u r specialising in the course and moreover u have the potential to be a lawyer. Also, dont get into fights with Seba over small little things and learn to give and take while running the household and while outside. Take care not to overspend and take care not to speed on the highway. The bed feels lighter without u...
