Hey look up!
I've bought a schoolbag for school!
Nike!
Leather! (fake or real, at least it feels like it)
Big enough for a laptop!
Brown!
$74.90! (oops!)
A birthday present frm Mumma and Dadda!
Thank you!
...
Attention: Ms Joann Lim!
We've already bought your birthday present.
Get ready for 2 surprises 2 weeks later.
Let me tell you something about her.
Apparently, she's an ungrateful sort.
I went to great lengths to planning her gift and getting the best possible gift for her...
only to hear...
that she wouldnt be buying any present for me!
Ungrateful!
Incorrigible!
Lalalalalala...
Silent night, holy night!
...
Yesterday, I spent the whole day at Vivo with a stranger.
We watched 2 movies, 10 Promises To My Dog and Shaolin Girl.
The former almost moved the whole audience to tears.
Luckily my eyes aint a drippy tap but my heart is as soft as a baby's bottom.
My heart broke in the middle, one for sadness and the other for the longing of having a similar puppy as that in the show.
Information: It is a golden retriever puppy.
Ok guys, raid all the pet shops in Singapore after i've given you the vital piece of information.
Earlier, i thought the lead actress in Shaolin Girl was Zhao Wei but it turned out to be Kou Shibasaki.
Haha both really look alike.
The show is abit stupid but the number of pretty girls in the show will draw you to the screen.
Overall, i think both movies are okay but the 10 Promises To My Dog is a must-watch definitely, that is, if you havent cried for 10 years.
...
Today i felt as though a weight has been lifted off me.
I've finally done a transaction with a male stranger concerning the sale of my handphone.
So that's an additional amount of money to add onto my savings.
After that, i went to J8 to change my Aust dollars into local dollars at a money changer.
Useful piece of information: The money changer at J8 is known to have a higher and more reasonable exchange rate than others.
Then with a huge windfall of money adding up to a 3 figure sum, i proceeded to deposit the money into my bank account.
After all this ended, i was as happy as a lark.
I was as happy as Laughing Buddha.
I was as happy as...as...
Enough!

Does this picture feel as though it's asking you to take it in your hands?
Haha.
Introducing...
The 8GB IPOD TOUCH!
In the Apple store here, it's selling for $498 and i wouldnt be in the right mind to splurge on tt amount right?
So i logged onto hardwarezone.com.sg forums and there it is!
Someone wanting to sell his brand new/sealed ipod touch for guess...
A price of $380!
So tt's alot of money saved!

This is the shiny back of the ipod touch.

Actually, i bought it for my sis' 21st birthday and i bet she will be so happy to start using it the moment she comes back frm her trip haha.

See, im such a good sister, willing to splurge a bit for her special coming-of-age.

Last night, i spent a few hours jailbreaking her ipod so as to be able to hack it to add more applications which Apple will charge for.

Lalalala, im simply loving it!

Oh i totally forgot abt another purchase i made on Monday, the same day tt i bought my lego set.
It's the new curved water bottle from Nike!
It costs $15.90, really expensive.
Awesome?
I chose this in transparent because the other colours werent cool at all.
The other colours are black, navy blue and purple.
I swear i saw one in yellow the last time i went there but someone already bought it.
It was the only yellow!!!

The awesome mouth piece tt is only exclusive to Nike water bottles, the air sucking mechanism!

Hi!
So last monday, we went to Kuishin-bo at Suntec for jap buffet lunch.
Overall each person paid $24.60 because we managed to finish eating before the 1hr limit.
Eating within this limit will entitle u to a price of only $19.90++ instead of the usual price of $24.60++.
I have to say tt this experience of eating jap buffet was certainly better than tt of Sakura's.
Fresher and tastier.

The plate of sushi and clams taken by bro.
He claimed on tt day tt he likes to eat anything although earlier saying tt he didnt like jap food esp the raw stuff.
Well, he really had everything, even the snail.

Prawn tempura, grilled salmon with cheese and fish fingers.

The batter was really light and i felt tt eating too much of that will make u sick and thirsty.

The grilled salmon had too many bones in it and i felt tt taking them out would make the overall eating experience better.

The tasty seafood soup we shared.

It's really tasty!!

Guess i should try making this myself at home haha.

The reallyyyy delicious chawan mushi / steamed egg!!!

Wayyy better than Sakura's which was weird-tasting.

It really has the taste of homeliness in them and i went for a second helping after tt.

This is sis with her holding the salmon sashimi in her chopsticks.

You can see tt she cant wait to gobble up the salmon in big mouth of hers.

Sis is a sucker when it comes to jap raw sashimi.

They also had an assortment of desserts such as choc fondue and choc everything.

As usual, sis, being the ever loving choc fanatic, took everything tt contained choc.

My plate of sweets!

Tiramisu in the background, small rainbow donut and the peanut mochi.

The snail!

I think i saw a hint of green in the snail's flesh.

That's super disgusting.

Bro said it tasted like mussels.

Yesterday, i had a fun time watching the fighter planes prepare their sky display for ndp from my house.

I know the noise is loud, but i like the feeling tt the noise is soooooooo super loud when the planes are flying directly above me.

It gives me a sense of pride.

Then i also watched how they used grey smoke to create patterns in the sky.

The best part was when they rehearsed for the segment tt includes 3 planes flying together before another plane flies at a super fast rate to catch up with them.

That's when the earthshaking noise came in.

I noticed from the pattern tt they only rehearsed 2 times before the noise died down.

Here's my completed lego market street set!

I got it at Bricksworld shop in Marina Square for over 100 bucks.

It's an exclusive set meaning tt it is designed by a lego fan and this set is really hard to find.

So grab it while u can.

Haha, really a waste of money eh?

But i like the fun of building tt comes with it.

It's really a little complicated hunting for the bricks considering tt this set has 1248 bricks.

Whew! Overall a fun experience and i will certainly buy more of such sets.

Oh yea, obviously, im giving u a hint of what birthday present u shd get for my 18th hehe.

Pls help to add in more sets to my current market street set!

Can you see Ms Long Hair having a cuppa on the rooftop while Mr Act Cool is downstairs, trying to sell his fruits?

Mr Act Cool is really acting cool because of his dyed green manga style hair haha.

And oh not forgetting this Ms Four Eyes hanging from a flagpole.

I wonder wat's she's doing there, maybe she's practising for her army training by doing pull-ups haha.

If you cant see her (the picture is rather blurry and unclear), look at the second floor balcony starting frm the curved stairs and look to the right of the balcony, a dark blue-clothed figure hanging outside.

And there really is a basement where u see in american shows, gambling dens in the basement under the buildings.

Does it make you feel like buying?

Hi!
Tis' the season to be jolly...
Haha, i cant help but feel happy abt the recent events tt took place these few days, starting from last week.
First, let's start with my sis' arrival frm Perth last Friday.
Concerning this joyful family event, i would have to say tt sis' arrival was pretty unexpected.
It started in the early morning at around 8 plus when i woke up to check my hp for any sms as usual.
And there was this familiar sg number tt belongs to sis, asking me whether i had any plans for tt day and whether i wanted to go out wif her.
My first thought tt came to my mind was tt sis had already arrived in sg when in actual fact, we were thinking all along tt sis would be arriving at the end of june.
And a few hours later, sis made her presence felt at the door, banging the gate like some mad ghost.
Obviously she cant wait to see her homely home as well as her giant cookie monster haha.
...
Later tt night, sis drove me and mum to Simpang Bedok to have our ladies' night at a hawker centre.
The place is sth like Chomp Chomp where it's known to be a foodies' haven.
I ordered grilled salmon while mum ordered tissue prata.
Overall, i have to say tt it's best to go there to have seafood, prata and asian food but not western food.
...
On sat, we had a usual fathers' day dinner celebration at some seafood coffeeshop in Tampines.
It's the tradition in the family where one relative recommends a good seafood place and we would go there to try the food out.
The food there is not bad, but i had it without rice coz mum said she was ordering fried rice for some of us and also fried rice is of course better than white rice.
But the real stinker came when my relative reported to us tt there was no fried rice at all so i didnt have a proper meal.
After tt, we went to gather at cousin's place at upper changi road to see the 2 cute doggies, rena and fluffy.
And then we went to dad's mum's place to report the arrival of sis and also watched the football match between netherlands and france.
And then back home!
...
Today, we went to St Mike's to have early mass before going down to Vivo City for some family shopping.
The first thing we did upon stepping foot in the shopping centre was to head to Pet Safari to take a look at the cute critters on display.
Sis fell in love with a particular dog on display.
The breed is a Scottish Terrier and it costs 2.8k.
Haha, sis felt she shared an affinity with it.
And oh Audrey!
I saw the Samoyed puppies tt Hayden Panettiere carried!!!
There were 2 of them and both were males!
Woooo!

This is the Scottish Terrier tt sis fell in love with.

Today i had something nutritious.
I cooked myself sth like ban mian for lunch except tt the soup didnt taste wat ban mian's supposed to taste like.
Well, actually i din cook everything because my maid helped too.
But but but, it's not wat i wanted, i wanted to cook EVERYTHING myself!
My maid had to butt in unfortunately.
I'm thankful to her for helping me but i would like to do the cooking myself honestly.
That's why i would cook only during times when she goes over to grandma's house to do her daily routine household chores.
...
Let me tell u how the overall food turned out.
The minced meat was tasty, my maid actually did the marinating.
The noodles were soft but too much of the "flourish" taste.
The veggies were yummy!
The fishcake tasted uncooked and not fresh, maybe it's because i didnt buy it fresh from the market.
The meal was actually very filling and nutritious.
...
Yesterday i had a dinner date with Jinwen at Marina Square.
We had dinner at MOF@My Izakaya where as the name says, serves Japanese food.
I admit tt i did not have high expectations of the place but the moment the food came, i had to prove myself wrong.
I ordered tonkatsu ramen which has creamy pork soup and char siew and it tasted heavenly.
I have a tooth for creamy stuff.
I also ordered salmon sashimi salad which comes with their own apple sauce and boy, was it soooooo undescribable.
Sooo fresh and healthy tt immediately after polishing off the bowl of ramen, i ordered another salad but this time, with cooked salmon.
I strongly recommend this place for youngsters like me.
Trust me, it will definitely appeal to ur tastes.
All in all, the meal costed abt 20 bucks.
Soo full after tt.
...
Next, we went shopping for Jinwen's mum's present.
She wanted to look for a tee shirt, preferably green, but she's a bit fussy when it comes to choosing the designs.
She also mentioned liking a tee shirt frm Levi's and also added tt it was out of stock and tt she and her sis had spent a lot of effort going to the branches to look for it.
Her dream came true at Marina Square, the place where all dreams come true, even for me.
Apparently the branch there had one such tee shirt on the rack and amazingly, it was in the size tt she wanted, Large!
After tt, she asked the sales person whether they still have new pieces in stock but she said no.
Sooo lucky of Jinwen, it was the last piece available in the shop!
Woo, i believe in miracles.
I also spotted a Lego store at the mall but i came too late so it was closed.
I also saw some clothes i liked.
I'm definitely trooping down to Marina Square again very soon.

Morning!
Been playing psp for a few days now.
Quite addicted to lego already, so much tt i feel like trooping down to Toys R Us to buy lego toy sets.
I love building things and i believe tt's my forte.
Sorry if i've been neglecting u online because i was too busy, u know, wat else...
...
Last sat, mum was my tour guide for the day when she brought me to ntu to have a look around.
The campus has certainly changed a little, with new buildings and new canteens.
First on the itinerary was mum's own school of eee, followed by many doorways and linkways to the nanyang auditorium.
We wanted to cut across the audi to the sch of biological sciences but there was some sort of project showcase by students so the area was partially cordoned off.
So instead, we walked along the sheltered carpark and tt's where mum met lokky a few days ago during the pre-u seminar.
The carpark is really really long and we also passed by the sch of civil engineering which looks like a hospital corridor frm the inside.
We went down the staircase to walk to my future sch and mum showed me a canteen tt is catered by CJS which mum swears by its good food.
OK i shant bore u with the details of my tour, but i can conclude tt ntu is easier to get lost than nus.
Ntu has 2 spines, the north and the south, and the schools are mostly joined together so u wont know whether u have entered the correct building the moment u open the lift lobby door.
But for nus, the buildings are scattered and easily identifiable.
So tt's about it for observe and compare.
...
Friends tt were true to u in the past are never true again...

Hi guys!
Forgive me if i've not been blogging for the next few days.
That's because the new psp game "Lego Indiana Jones The Original Adventures" is the new heaven.
Boo hoo, Jojo is off to watch the real thing tonight, meaning now with somebody...
NEVER MIND!
I shall find another way to watch the movie ON MY OWN hahahhaha!
I shant disclose how.
...
Tml, i'm running.
That's it.
I welcome no laughter from the audience.
...
And today another testimonial frm Ntuc arrived by post today.
Wierd, and this one is from HR.
The other is from my boss.
How come there are 2?
...
Oh yea!
That reminds me!
Tml is the day when the results of the NDP e-balloting will take place.
I've submitted alot of entries, hope tt i will get the coveted tickets and if i do, i will surely invite all of you to attend the parade wif her gracious majesty, Princess Cornelia.
...
Now i know why Willy the Mr X has been blinking non-stop when i placed him on my computer table.
The culprit is the modem.

Hey Audrey!
I got this Mr X!
Remember him?
There was a time in CJ when u brought Mr X to school...
Happily hanging on ur hp Mr X was...
And so i said i would buy him one day...
About 9 months later, i got him...
Mr X is mine forever...
(I've christened Mr X with a new name and that is Willy!)
(If you know why i named him tt, i will put my arms around you.)
...
Oh wow, the new channel 8 dramas are pretty shitty.
I'm suffering from withdrawal symptoms after Rhythm of Life ended its run last week.
And i've to say tt Dawn Yeoh has improved her acting by leaps and bounds.
And everytime i watched this show, Jesseca Liu would remind me sooo much of Audrey K.
And when the part came, showing her character fall to her death, my heavens, i really wanted to tear because i related tt part to Audrey K, my friend, falling to her death.
(and tear i did, in the form of yawning)
And other things about her character and Audrey K which i shall not mention.
Ok thumbs up for this show, the most memorable channel 8 drama of the year!
...
I've just finished watching 21, a movie starring 5 MIT students who were trained to count cards which would eventually be put into good use in blackjack games.
And when there came a part where these students flew to Las Vegas to utilise their skills in the casinos of the Nevada desert, Ben Campbell (Jim Sturgess) was so awe-struck by the glittering lights of Las Vegas.
What i'm trying to say here is i'm so thankful to my parents for bringing me to Las Vegas when i was four.
(Freaking four! I tell you, it's so wasted.)
And now i can proudly say tt i've been to Las Vegas, a land where most singaporeans might not have been to.
And ooh, did u read the newspapers?
The King Kong exhibit in Universal Studios in Los Angeles was razed to the ground!
And how i remembered just 13 years ago when i was a small kid of 4, i was sooo awestruck by this giant gorilla, a memory tt i've taken along with 'til now.
...
R.I.P
King Kong
