I will cut the long story short.
Have you ever wondered why your dreams that you cannot control (kinda) turn out to be sort of prophetic?
I think mine was kinda when i had a dream 7 months back in Apr, a few days before jetting off to Perth to visit my sissy.
I dreamt that i was standing at an airport runway, watching a Qantas plane flying overhead me and then making a landing.
But the plane had a hole like something had ploughed through and metal parts were dangling at the sides of the hole.
I remembered feeling scared because the extent of the damage was kinda bad.
...
Now, i have to admit that i really felt apprehensive about the flight that i was due to take a few days later.
Thankfully, it didnt take place (touch wood, of course) but however, 3 months later in July, the same thing (but of a smaller scale) really did happen to Qantas which sustained a hole in one side and then forced to make an emergency landing in Manila.
Well, i didnt realise i had a dream quite similar to the real-life event because i might have forgotten all about it until this morning when i was in deep thoughts during lecture.
The dream came rushing back to me like a flashback and it struck me that it was kind of similar to the Manila event and especially so when it was a plane that belonged to Qantas.
Wow, i guess i was really thinking too hard until my eyes started to ache sort of.
Well, this post's for me and you readers to ponder, is it a prophetic dream?
Or is it just a coincidence?

Let me sidetrack a little.
I once had a funny dream that was about 2 men (why need 2 men???) telling me that i will die at 19 years old, which is like a year away.
Haha, of course i shouldnt dwell too much about it but it's funny how this kind of dreams that are sort of a prophetic nature suddenly sprout up in your head when you are sleeping.
Well, the thing for me to do is to wait and see!

Speaking of dreams, let's talk about aspirations.
Oh no dont worry, i'm not gonna talk about my studies, work, all the usual stuffs etc.
It may sound random to you but i would like to start working soon and earn lots of money so that the money will go to the purchase of a sports car.
If i cant afford it, i will just buy a normal sedan car and then decorate it with sport rims, a spoiler, larger wheels with thin sharp-looking spokes and an engine tuned to emit a noisy vroom vroom sound similar to that made by a motorcycle.
Fast cars really give me a sense of thrill and adrenaline rush.
I think sporty cars are really like prized trophies to admire, they have a kind of style that is very appealing to me.

I'm becoming a regular patron of The Grinning Gecko, a small western-style cafe located at the corner of Central Forum.
It doesnt mean the food tastes out of this world but they are really priced cheaply for a reasonable portion.
And i say reasonable because im able to feel full afterwards haha.
So i've tried beef stew, mushroom pasta, dory fish fillet and roast chicken, all with pasta because you get the option of having your meals go with pasta, rice or mashed potato.
The beef stew was the best, it tasted heavenly and reminded me of home.
Refreshing too...
The mushroom pasta had a kind of wierd tasting mushroom sauce, the creamy kind.
Tasted a bit too 'herby' and 'cinnamony'.
That's because they used cinnamon for the sauce and i think it's a rather wierd combination.
But then again, the taste is really unique so kudos to their creativity because i guess nobody has ever come up with a recipe that includes adding cinnamon to make mushroom sauce.
So yea, i recommend you have a go at the cafe, the food may not be so 'high-class' to you but at least, it's edible and doesnt make you wretch from the taste haha.

Is my blog going for dead?
Or is my blog dead because im leading such a mundane not-worth-talking-about life?

I've been swamped with projects that i can hardly find time to do my favourite things at least.
I even forgot to do the one most important thing i do every tuesday, meaning yesterday.
That's because i was determined to rush home and complete the powerpoint slides to prepare for today's sucky architecture presentation.
I hope everything goes well because i better be rewarded for going through a lot of effort to obtain research materials for my presentation haha.
Coz last monday, i was at National Library to source for research materials relating to the man behind my troubles - Balkrishna Doshi.
And when i could find what i wanted, i practically wanted to jump for joy and the expertise of the photocopy man to be able to enlarge the pictures i wanted frm the reference book made me all the more think that i've achieved something tt is so great.
Haha, i must be exaggerating but you wont understand what my work consists of anyway...

I think im a rather pathetic university student coz i haven yet made any close friends that i can have lunch with or study with.
I mean i actually have a FEW, but they seem to be too busy or sth.
And right now, im alone in the library with an empty and growling stomach that is screaming for edible matter but cant get to receive coz of the need to chope the power point for my laptop.
Oh woe is me, i wish there is someone i know beside me to help me take care of my laptop so that i can run downstairs and grab a bite or two.
Ah, there's my favourite cup corn!
I think the taste is much better than the pasar malam kind coz the corn nibblets are so juicy and sweet and sometimes there is a generous serving of margarine added.
Yummy!

Ok nth more to say, i hope i've appeased those nervous anxious hearts of others out there who are anxiously waiting for just a single updated post frm me.
Haha, just kidding!
Im also anxiously waiting for sissy to come back so we can wreak havoc wherever we go.

Seeing Sendhil Ramamurthy a.k.a Mohinder Suresh of the Heroes cast on the mrt on my way to school this morning was the first thing that shocked me.
Yes, it really is him!
The handsome rough patchy face with the curly hair.
Do you believe it?
Hahaha, ok im telling you not to believe me because he was just a look-alike.
The reel him has the same physique, facial structure as well as clothing style.
The only difference is that the reel guy has a shorter and neat hairstyle.
That was one way to spice up the long journey to school in the mornings.
