Recently, my brother somehow influenced me to have an interest in swords.
Replica ones.
And if you ask me what kind of sword i preferred since there are so many kinds of swords around, i would say the Japanese katana swords as shown above.
The blade is not too thin nor too fat, in fact, the width is just right.
The blade should also be as long as possible so that the sword can be swung around with ease.
All the more awesome if the sword is fully functional, in this case, it must be able to cut or slash through things yet not destroying the blade during the process.
As such, the blade should be made of high carbon steel and not the usual common stainless steel which is only used for decorative swords.
I would appreciate it if the sheath or the blade has some intricately designed engravings such as dragons, embroidery, characters etc.
I know these so-called toys or collectors' items are very very pricey with the cheapest clocking in at 3 digits but the price is worthwhile because you know your sword, although a replica, is something very painstakingly crafted with the best materials such as bamboo, oak and steel.
I sound very 'boy' right?
But i can't help it if i suddenly take a liking towards swords.
I would also appreciate a gun as well.
Take note, this is a hint.
(These swords are available at Caesars and Liang Seng Sports)
I'm back from Penang since yesterday.
But the one thing that's weighing on my mind is the fact that i didn't attend Aud K's birthday dinner.
I was too tired to turn up but i know that she was rather disappointed.
In fact, i had suggested to her previously that she should organise a party of some sort since we didn't get to attend any of hers during our jc days.
Haiz, i really feel bad and i would like to say 'I'm sorry'.
It's your 20th and yet i couldn't make it a point to celebrate with you.
Somehow, i will make it up to you one day next year since you are already in Indo.
