Wow, it has been eons ago since i last blogged.

Frankly, i didn't feel like blogging these days because i guess no one really cares what i write about myself.

But today somehow, i decided to blog out of pity for my dear blog which is like a human being, something that needs to be cared for constantly in order not to let it rot away within the depths of the cyberworld.

So basically, the year 2008 has particularly been a whirl of emotions, challenges and friendships.

Looking back, i think 2008 was not quite a good year for me, some things i won't reveal here for you readers sadly haha.

For everyone, 2008 is synonymous with the global economic recession but for me, it's synonymous with the beginning of a new life in the form of the 1^st year in NUS.

And this new life, i must say, was quite a challenge, something that i've never experienced before and is the biggest one to date.

Sadly, last semester did not end on a high note for me and so, i've made a resolution to push myself to the limits this coming new semester starting on 12^th January.

Though i know new year's resolutions are bad for us, i feel it's necessary for me to make one because this coming semester is a time for me to climb up the student ladder so as to place myself in a comfortable level among my peers.

Moving off from the subject of university life, i shall talk about how i'm currently spending my time during the end of sem break.

Since my maid left for good, my family has been sharing the work of the household chores and i find myself being the one to mop the floor almost everyday with the exception of weekends and parents' off days.

It's a little tiring for the mopping part especially when my mum insists that the house must be mopped everyday.

I personally feel that mopping should take place every 2 days because i guess our house is quite clean except for the occasional pesky dust balls lurking in dark corners.

But well, i think i've inherited a bit of the cleanliness freak from mum so i think i can't quite stand the idea of having a dirty and greasy floor to walk on when i come home.

Another thing, while i was sweeping the floor just now before mopping, i found a lot of hairs on the floor as usual due to my sis' constant stroking of her hair for i don't know what reason.

Probably, she wants to straighten her hair or remove her split ends or whatever.

And i realised actually we really can't have a dog if we were to be constantly annoyed about the presence of hair all over the place because dogs will always shed fur constantly so i can't imagine the look on my mum's face when she sees more and more clumps of hair as well as sis' hair strewn all over the place. (mum has this thing against hair)

And then we move off from the subject of household chores, next, i will talk about the recent blockbuster drama of the year, 'The Little Nyonya'.

The Mediacorp production ended its run last Monday on a not so high note because i was confused about the ending until i read up on the official forum for more information on the ending.

But still, it was the main character that captured me and truthfully, i had watched the show just because of her haha.

The show has certainly reached out to me a lot by way of growing interest in Jeanette Aw and this show actually made me sit up and notice her even more.

I had actually taken notice of her since the days of Beautiful Connection but then i hadn't thought much of her acting or looks.

So among the 7 princesses of Mediacorp, 2 actresses stand out and that would be Rui En and Jeanette.

Luckily, i'm not suffering from 'The Little Nyonya withdrawal syndrome' because the present new show 'Reunion Dinner' which started airing yesterday is quite funny and humorous.

School is starting next Monday and currently, i'm bidding for my modules which is a nightmare and worry for me because the gem and ss are always the expensive modules and it is made worse with the fact that i have very little points in my g account.
