ok everyone, i'm back again to update on my exam papers.
what does this mean?
it means i'm fine with the papers and therefore in the right mood to talk about them.
hahahha.
anyways, GE2220 on tuesday was a great paper though i was not really sure about the last section where it's 10 marks.
but then again, i hope i did everything right, even the mcqs were manageable.
as for GE2224, i think it was worse than GE2220.
basically it is a human geography module and i don't really have an inclination towards human geography though it is more of common sense.
today's paper was a little of a blank where i didn't know what to write.
this module is quite chim really, with all the super perfect english in the lecture notes as well as the readings.
then again, this module is taught by a caucasian lecturer and even the tutor is also one.
i don't really recommend you all to take this module because it requires the discipline to read your articles faithfully and also to check the dictionary to look up the hard words.
well, what's done is done, i can only eagerly anticipate about my results.
i have 3 more papers to go, 1 on saturday and the other 2 on monday.
i think i'm rather pathetic considering that most people have about 1 or 2 more papers left and i'm still so slow haha.
...
let me talk about tuesday's GE2220 exam.
there were other exam modules in the same hall as mine.
so i saw this lecturer (i think he is) invigilating for that particular module.
and i recognised him instantly.
he's quite a celebrity now that he has appeared in the news for the wrong reasons.
guess who is he?
...
...
...
...
...
he's dr david tian aka dr date.
haha, he was in the news because he claimed to have dated over 30 girls.
and a lot of guys in singapore were criticising him for being too smug about being able to attract girls that easily.
that's how guys are, too much ego within them.
so yea, throughout the whole paper, i was stealing glances at him because he's not bad-looking but don't worry, i can assure you his presence didn't affect my performance in the exam hahaha.
and also he got quite big muscles, even bigger than bro's (disgusting bro, keep admiring and touching his arm and chest muscles, i still think he's still quite puny)
i wonder if there were others who recognised him as well.
yea end of story.
...
i'm a little worried about the swine flu situation in many countries, especially australia.
because as you all probably know, i'm travelling to perth in july.
hopefully the swine flu situation would have improved by then, with lesser cases and lesser deaths.
still, i'm not going to let it affect my travel plans.
and i'm going for a flu jab with mum soon!
though i know flu jabs don't protect you against swine flu but i need to get some form of immunity since i always get colds for no reason.
but i'm pretty afraid of injections because the last time i went, it hurt a lot.
i think i must have tensed up when i saw the needle going for my arm.
guess i need to look away haha.
well i think that's all for today...
...
and oh, have a look at my updated wish list.

28 april is approaching really really soon!
that's because it's the day of my very first exam paper for semester 2 for the year 2008/2009.
tomorrow's ge2220 paper and yes, wish me luck for it.
i'm more or less prepared but i still feel i need to study more.
depending on the outcome of the paper tomorrow, i may or may not update you all about my thoughts about the paper.

a not so public announcement:
i miss my sister!
(this is upon sis' instructions...)
...
perth trip's been confirmed!
going there on 6th july and coming back on 17th july!
first time taking a budget airline which is jetstar!
all i know about the airline is it has leather seats which i think should be pretty cool!
so yea, i'm going there to meet sis because 'i miss my sis'.
therefore, all corny lovers, i don't think i will be able to celebrate my birthday with you all (10th jul by the way...) unless i celebrate it earlier.
let's see how things go.
...
so... i'm thinking of getting a job during the june holidays because may is pretty much filled with driving lessons and probably the heart-pounding driving test.
i really really hope to obtain a licence after one attempt.
today, it seems i already mastered the 'art' of doing directional turns which is basically more of reversing into the adjacent lot.
parking is still 2 more lessons away!
hopefully, by friday i will be able to learn that, if not, 3 weeks later!
i saw on the internet that car rental companies in australia do not mostly allow people under 21 years of age to rent cars.
sigh... considering that i may get my licence before i go over in july...
i can't drive...
boo hoo!
...
oh yea, i didn't mention why i want to earn money during the holidays.
i'm actually saving up for another perth trip possibly next year before bro goes off for ns.
and also a roadtrip to monkey mia in the northern part of perth.
...
i'm happy jojo finds peace within a photo i took of swan valley in perth last year.
she loves it a lot and she is able to derive inspiration from it.
it's a wonder how nature is able to soothe us and make us calm.

i'm in holiday mood.
firstly, this week is study week which means i don't have to go to school.
secondly, my perth trip in july is more or less confirmed, and i've been searching around for cheap tours within perth.
that has gotten me excited.
...
okayyssss, exams are next week!
28 jul (tues) - ge2220 5pm
29 jul (wed) - ge2224 1pm
*2 may (sat) - ge2229 1pm (it's at sheares hall!)
4 may (mon) - ge2018 9am and sss1207 1pm
everybody, wish me luck for the exams.
i really really really need all the luck even if it means having the whole country participate in an exam prayer service for me.
...
i'm not happy with xiaxue for not blogging for a long time.
last post was on 14th apr.
how long is that??
i've grown rather fond of her blog because i love the way her life sounds so interesting.
i also like how she easily gets angry at things which i think she shdn't be angry at.
it's rather humourous the way she see things.
okkkkayyy, now where's my commission for promoting xiaxue in my blog?
...
this weekend, me and my family are going to jack's place to celebrate wood's birthday.
i'm looking forward to it because i can finally get to eat steak!
steak! steak! steak!
juicy fatty steak!
i envy the guys who get to gobble down a few kilograms of steak during an eating competition.
just search in youtube.
...
okays i have nothing much to say.
i'm typing this post because i want to fill the emptiness in the blog.
after all, emptiness must be filled.
hahaha okay it's lame!

Hiii long time no update again...
This morning, i saw Wong Li-Lin jogging out of Evans Road (the place where NUS Law School and CCAB are).
She's kinda wearing sunglasses (i say kinda because i forgot if she was really wearing sunglasses haha!) but she was still recognizable.
Kinda jolted me out of my sleepy daze while on the bus coz it's not everyday where u can spot a celebrity somewhere on the streets.
So yea, this is my simple story for today. (-.-)
...
Basically, i'm not really looking forward to a week or so later because that's when poly is starting and that means kinda overcrowding in the buses especially 151, the bus that i always take to school.
For now, i'm rather relaxed and in high spirits because i know there will sure be empty seats in the bus, what with only students from SIM and NUS will be taking.
Don't want to sound auntie about being able to grab a seat or not but it's a matter of the long journey to school and therefore, after all, as my friend said to me, standing for long periods puts pressure on your feet and legs, giving you unsightly varicose veins streaking along the calves.
I've given you all a useful piece of information, so do take note of that.
...
About my driving, i've gone for about 6 lessons and i've to say it's been a pretty smooth 'ride' and i think i've gotten a hang of driving.
The only thing i haven learnt is parking.
So yea, driving is something i look forward to, which is a good thing.
...
I know you may find this post a lil boring haha.
I just want to eradicate any traces of abandonment that may be present within this blog.
Good news (for myself!): I've finally finished the group mapping project which we have sacrificed long hours for and i think we did a great job out of it.
Longest project meeting on record also, on a Saturday from 10am to 7pm!
